**Updated Constitution added to website on 10/6/2016**
To submit a proposed change to the Constitution and By-Laws you must submit your proposal in writing to the Constitution and By-Laws committee by June 1st. The club will then vote on the change by September 15th and theresults will be announced at the annual meeting at the ARBA Convention.

Proposed change #1 By-Law Article 4 - Elections Section 11
This was the change that would change the percentage on the vote for selecting
convention judges from 70% to 50%.
This change passed with a vote of 85 yes and 20 no. passing with a 80.95%.
Proposed change #2 By-Laws Article 7—Dues Section 1
This change would have allowed the youth to vote on judges for the national convention.
This failed with a vote of 60 yes and 44 no. This only had 57.69% yes vote and
need a 66.7%
Proposed change #3 By—Laws Article 7- Dues Section 1
This change would have required first time members to be charged a $5.00 surcharge
per household to help offset the cost of the Guidebook and postage.
This failed with a 64 yes and 39 no. This change only had a 62.14% yes vote so it
Proposed change #4 By—Laws Article 8-Commissions and Salaries Section 1
This changed the amount of money the Secretary—Treasurer receives for processing
paperwork and keeping track of the sweepstakes.
This passed with a vote of 78 yes and 27 no with 74.29% in favor.
Proposed change #5 Sweepstakes Section 1-5
This change will add a Quality point section to the sweepstakes.
This passed with a 81 yes and 24 no vote. This was 77.14% in favor.
These changes took effect right away. A new constitution was filed with ARBA office
on Monday January 26, 2015.
